Here's wishing you a great year with lots of smiles and minimal tooth pain;)
We love you!
UPDATE: The cake and The wish... For the record I want to be buried in a giant hunk of angel food cake.

Isabella Brown's Wonken Birthday Bash!
This was Finley's first time going to another kids birthday party. Isabella Brown, daughter of friends Christina and Tolon is older than Finley by 2 years. The party... A Willy Wonka theme with all the decadent fixins. Invitations were golden tickets inside chocolate bars, a chocolate fountain!, chocolate everything - even carrots. Cupcakes, regular cake and a whole table of candy for party favors that the kids got to take home in bags they decorated themselves. She didn't even get this much candy for Halloween! There was musical chairs, duck duck goose and some serious rough housing with boys. By the end - and we WERE the last to leave, she was covered in goo and was sporting a really nice scratch. The last picture is Finley eating an actual carrot stick covered in cholcoate! I had to finish it...;)

Trees + Big Wind = This
A couple days ago I posted us all playing in this playground. You can actually see the tire swing we were on in the mangled mess... Again, thanks to Lily's papa for the pics. As far as I know no one was hurt. We had a lot of rain in the past week so when those big winds started blowing the poor trees' mushy roots just couldn't hold them up. There are a few big ones down around the park apparently :(

Finley's Spinning Wheel of Doom
Fast or deceptively slow this was one of the most nauseous rides I have ever been on. Craig will agree. There was a moment when I could have sworn my stomach was on the outside of my body.
Sometimes I feel that the blog content is a little too one-sided. Don't you all love seeing how great our life is all the time? In the spirit of "balance" I guess I should post some video from the moments when we are having tantrums (big and little people) or potty training (number one is going well - number two not so good!)

Whew!
Ok, that was the most blogging I have ever done! A veritable backlog of blog. Sorry, unfair to do to people (you six people know who you are!) who only have so many minutes in their day for this stuff. I HAD to get it all out of my BRAIN!! Now I can get on with the computer work that I should be doing... You are free to relax but might I suggest a film? With the Oscars coming up this weekend, here is another great documentary that is nominated... The Cove. Totally compelling, original and of course, horrifying. But ABSOLUTELY important! I don't know which one changed my life more this year - The Cove or Food Inc. which is up for an Oscar too. Not so relaxing but hey, I can relax when I'm dead. I like my entertainment with teeth! Maybe it's like adrenaline sports except you're on your couch;)
The last day of dance class...
We are taking a break from the class now but hope to be going back soon. Miss Sarah, the teacher, was really great at getting to them to think about and move their bodies giving us some of the best memories EVER. This is where we learned the Moon Moon Moon song and a great exercise song "Kye Kye Kule" (Hands on Your Head) from Ghana. We sing these ALL the time. Here are a few pics - Finley doing her solo with "front and back fox", getting mugged by Madeline the Stealth Hugger and Yawning her sleepies out before shake shake shaking her sillies out.
