In Japan- where I was pregnant w/ Aida, if you gained too much weight (like more than 3 lbs) between hospital visits you literally got a red stamp in the little medical record book you had to take to all of your appointments. Since I couldn't read the chinese characters in the stamp my dr. was nice enough to write (in red pen mind you) "less sugar, less salt" next to the kanji.
ReplyDeleteBefore getting "the stamp" I thought it was funny. After my first of many red stamps I was obsessed for 48 hours- I could talk of nothing else.
