emmett and I looked at this guys website for a long time discussing the merits of art that makes you say, "it looks so real"...
I like the feel of these paintings...especially the ones that are very close and more dreamy, less reality...
emmett really like the sea-glass green one that looks positively real.

hey annie, I went and looked again and longer myself. I love what he says about his art and his bio is interesting. "Life’s beauty is magnificent as it hangs at the edge of death, insisting upon its relevance." I too like the dreamy dark ones I like the green waves too, I actually like it all. Even the installations are so interesting. The fan blowing a bag of sand with a hole in it, the wall with the crack of sand blowing through. I was thinking that people love the ocean and waves because we are mostly water. Waves help people meditate - they are like a portal for introspection. They calm us down. I wish I had more of it. It makes me want to go to the beach more:)
