Yggdrasil Weekend - Part Deux

Sandy, my personal Art Slave - came up last weekend to finish the mural in the baby room. She worked practically around the clock, asking only for food and coffee (mostly coffee). She is seriously considering doing murals as a side job and I am proud to be her first shining testimonial. It is totally magical and we love it!

The Sun and Sandy's dragonfly
The Moon

Vidofnir - The rooster that lives high in the tree.

Dvalin - one of the deer that nibble on the tree . There are four deer representing the winds.
Ratatosk - The squirrel who carries gossip back and forth between heaven and hell.
A toad for Craig - why not?
Nidhog the serpent.

I was thinking to set up a twin mattress under the tree for Mac and Emmett if they want - they can be the first to sleep under the tree! Pete is Craig's friend who was at the house and signed into his Google account.

Nidhog; great name for a serpent.

Love the room. The tree is amazing. Your friend really should do it as a side job. I wish she lived here!

love it...the rooster is especially beautiful and I love how in the first picture the tree looks as if it's coming out of the rocking chair. When you're sitting in that chair nursing or reading books to your baby..the tree will be spreading over you protecting you...love it!!!
